I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, where I specialize in development and applied microeconomics. My research focuses on education, labor, and agriculture, with a strong emphasis on field experiments, data collection, and impact evaluations in the MENA region, the GCC, and Sub-Saharan Africa. I am passionate about understanding and addressing key development challenges through empirical research. Throughout my academic journey, I have been fortunate to collaborate with several leading institutions, including the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), the Minnesota Population Center, the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability, and the Economic Research Forum. My work often involves rigorous impact evaluations, or investigating labor market dynamics and agricultural productivity. In addition to my academic work, I am committed to producing research that informs real-world policy decisions, especially in the areas of poverty alleviation, food security, and education reform. I am always eager to engage in collaborations that push the boundaries of development economics and contribute to sustainable development in low- and middle-income countries.

My research lies at the intersection of development, labor, and agricultural economics, with a focus on empirical methods including field experiments and causal inference using ML and administrative data.

I am curious about how households in low- and middle-income countries make decisions under constraints, particularly in the domains of agriculture, education, and fertility.
